  • Now I have a quandary. As I recall, This is the state that not very long ago had laws against the possession of any birth control device such as a condom. Then for a while condoms were prescription only. Now they want to hand them out by the truck load. What a joke!!!

  • Well folks, Congress dropped the ball again. They went on vacation leaving the National Flood Insurance Plan expired. That's right, It expired on May 31 2010. No new or renewed flood insurance policies. You can't get any mortgage in over 60% of the market without Flood insurance.

  • My father spent 37 years of his life working for Bethlehem Steel in Bethlehem Pa. He retired from there at 65 and died of Asbestosis at 68. His job killed him finally. Bethlehem Steel had a wonderful pension plan for it's retirees and survivors.

  • If it would not be for the union, the plant would be already long gone ! Unions are the only thing that keeps jobs in the United States. Out government would gladly watch the jobs go elsewhere as long as the parent company pays the lobbies and the political pocket.

  • MarieN, There is no "right" to come here. That's a privilege not a right. And immigration from other countries has always been controlled and not an open door policy. Mexico seems to think they are somehow a privileged nation and think we need an no door policy.
